BHaratanatyam -- Form or Content at Smitavach

It was an experience listening to several dancers , pracitioners and Guru-s at the two day festival titled Smitavach. My paper was on "Bharatanatyam -- Form or content" and my presentation was Shiva Shakti Koothu of Subramanium Bharatiar .

There were Gurus and performers from Mumbai and Pune spoke on other topics too. The other topics designed by Guru Smita Mahajan the convenor of the Festival were -- Varnam -- then and now and The inevitability of muthology in Bharatanatyam .

Guru Lata Raman , Guru ALka Lajmi , Guru Suman Badami , Guru Swati Datar, Guru Sandhya Dharma , Guru Arundhati Patwardhan , Guru Revathi Srinivasan were present at this two day symposium .
