Its been a hectic June with 6 performances . It has been equally surprising too. The day I performed "Shodh" , the rains had a different story to tell, inspite of that audiences came in amazing numbers . I salute the audiences of Pune , who came from Pimpri ( takes about an 90 minutes) , Aundh , Sus Road. The reactions which I have got have been amazing and that keeps you going as a solo artiste.
"Nritya Sangam" which is one of the most popular "Brands" in Pune , made it very clear that even on a rainy week day , a classical dance ticketshow goes house full at Yashwant Rao Chavan Auditorium , with around 500 members watching, enjoying each and every moment of the performances.
But the biggest surprise was none other than "Ramayana - adarsha samaaj ka charitra chitran" . All the four shows went blockbuster full with audiences filling up the balcony too. Nothing beats Indian Idols -- Rama, Lakshmana and Sita. The audiences consisted of people coming from all backgrounds and ages , appreciating each and every piece and also the detailed narrations with it.
