This year again I got the opportunity to perform at Basantotsab of the Bangiya Sanskriti Samsad. It was great to be on stage where my GuruDr. Sucheta Chapekar too performed and also the legendary Shanti Bose ( Uday Shankar's seniormost disciple) performed . I got the opportunity to perform Tagore's "aaje dakhino pabone dula lagilo"Tagore's poems is about joy and sorrow , sorrow and restrained joy , loved to interpret this particular poems tranlslated by Biswajitda in english.Kushal Das , the talented photographer has graciously shared these photographs , thanks to him.

Intriguing tho' is that of all the feelings mentioned in the poetry - only love is restrained(!)
thanks a ton ratna , yes tagore's poems are interesting and definitely intriguing , somewhere I have always felt he has understood pathos like nobody has ....tears can also look beautiful thru his poems ...
