Students of Shri Parimal Phadke create a record in the Bharatanatyam Dance Competition Scene

Students of Parimal Phadke, Bharatanatyam dancer have made Pune proud by winning two major dance competitions from Mumbai..


The Svar Sadhana Samiti Bharatanatyam juniors dance competition was won by Komal Surve , 12 year old budding talented student of Shri Parimal Phadke,

The Dadar Matunga Juniors Bharatanatyam Dance Competition was won by Durga Tilak , 12 year old Bharatnatyam student of Shri Parimal Phadke.

Archana Jadhav won the second prize in the seniors category of Dadar Matunga Bharatanatyam Choreography Competition.


Even the local dance competitions have been in then kitty of Parimal Performing Arts and Research Centre, the Bharatnatyam dance academy which is run in three venues—


Aksharnandan School , Senapati Bapat Road.
Seva Sadan English Medium School ,Erandwane
Sahanishtha Society ,Sahakarnagar



The local Bharatnatyam dance competitions were also won by students of Parimal Peforming Arts and Research Centre.


Bharatnatyam Junior dance competition conducted by the Prerana Foundation Juniors was fully won by students of Parimal Phadke

The first went to Durga Tilak , second to Vaishnavi Gire and the third to Asmita Satpathy. The seniors category in the same in the same competition was won by Manasi Fatak.


Sindhoja , a sri lankan student learning under Parimal won the second prize at the Harmony Intercollegiate Bharatanatyam Dance Competition.


So In all the students have won 8 prizes at these prestigious Bharatanatyam Dance Competitions. A record in a span of 2 months which no other Bharatanatyam Dance Institute can boast of.


The reason for this success is Quality Control. Shri Parimal Phadke is ably assisted by Saee Shetye , Manasi Fatak and Sneha Pandit who contribute to keeping the quality of the dancers intact. The students are encouraged to take theory classes and understand the deeper relation between theory and practice. The academy is ints 5th year and , such a feat in such a short span is remarkable. Shri Parimal Phadke also gives credit to the parents of the students who give whole hearted co-operation in bringing up their children, making the students aware of their inner strengths and fully supporting them in their endeavours.
